Fundraising
We are a self funding local charity; all our finance has to be raised locally. Funds are raised via the Great North Run, for which we have an annual allocation of places, approaches to Charitable Trusts and other grant-making bodies, events, shop sales, Christmas card and calendar sales.
Raising funds is however a continual struggle if we are to maintain our existing level of service, particularly with a worsening economic situation nationally. Any ideas for and assistance with fundraising would be much appreciated.
