Cards and Calendars
Every year Age Concern Knaresborough produces its popular Calendar which depicts local scenes in postcard format and is usually available from early September. The pictures are chosen from a selection of photographs taken by members of the public and local photographers who enter them into an annual competition organised by the Knaresborough Post Newspaper. The Calendar is produced for us by Judges of Hastings and costs £3.50.
We also have a good selection of Christmas Cards produced by Age Concern and our own 'Knaresborough Card' which again depicts a local scene. Both cards and calendars are available from Cliff House or from our shop on Castlegate. They are also available from the Charity Card Shop at Brindley's in Harrogate from early October until mid December.
The sale of cards and calendars is very important as a fundraising opportunity for Age Concern Knaresborough and obviously the more we sell the more money is raised so please support us this Christmas.
