Charity Shop
Age Concern Knaresborough has its own Charity Shop on Castlegate in Knaresborough and is manned totally by Volunteers. The shop is vital to our fundraising strategy and the money raised helps to maintain the services that we provide, many of which are losing their statutory funding.
The one thing that makes us different from many other charity shops is that ALL the money raised from our shop STAYS IN KNARESBOROUGH and does not disappear into a large national pot of money that could end up anywhere but Knaresborough!
We need a constant supply of good quality goods, to include clothing, books and bric-a-brac so that our shop can continue to provide essential funding for our valuable work.
Volunteers are always needed to help run the shop as the more days we can open then the more money we can potentially raise. If you have a few spare hours a week and would like to offer your time we would be delighted to hear from you.
