Great North Run
The BUPA Great North Run is one of the world’s most popular half marathons, going from the centre of Newcastle to South Shields on the UK’s North East Coast.
This year this event takes place on Sunday, 19 September. Each year Age Concern Knaresborough has an allocation of guaranteed places available which this year is 15. This has enabled us, over the last 5 years, to raise a considerable sum, which in the main has been directed to support our invaluable bathing service.
All we ask you to do is aim to raise £300 sponsorship and pay a £60 registration fee for your entry. For this you will receive a guaranteed place in the 2010 Great North Run, an official running vest and access to hospitality facilities after the race. You can sign up for one of our places by simply printing off the application form from the link below, filling it in and sending it back with your deposit to:-
